"Gel is great, not a big fan of the brushes"
Posted byArchie the Bichonon2nd Jul 2023I thought I'd try out the Tropiclean dental gel after finding out the one I used was only good as a preventative rather than removing build up. I got the kit as the 360° brush looked interesting, however unfortunately we were not a fan. It's much harder to get the brush "on top" of the teeth than it is to get the sides. Maybe it's just because Archie has quite a small mouth, but it was very bulky and hard to use dispite the small size. I normally use a dual ended dog toothbrush and Archie is totally fine with brushing, but was really not a fan with the 360° brush. The finger brush is made of silicone rather than bristles, and I personally feel bristles give a better clean so I honestly don't use either of the brushes. In hindsight, I would've just purchased the gel - and would've got the berry flavour rather than mint. The gel is great though and helps keep his teeth clean and healthy, I just wouldn't recommend the brushes
