Recall – Little Green Dog Hypoallergenic Dog Treats with Superfoods 85g, dated Tuesday 28 July 2026

Petdirect is voluntarily recalling one batch of Little Green Dog Hypoallergenic Dog Treats with Superfoods.

Affected product

The batch number and Best Before date are printed on the back of the pack.

Reason for the recall
The supplier, Little Green Dog, has notified us of a report of a small metal fragment found embedded in a treat from this batch number. No other packs have been reported as affected and there have been no reports of any pet being harmed. As a precaution, we are recalling this batch while Little Green Dog investigates.

Stop using this product
If you have a pack of this product from batch 0702A, please stop giving it to your dog.

Disposal
You can dispose of the affected product in your general household waste bin. You do not need to return it to receive a refund.

If your dog has been eating this product
We have had no reports of any pet being harmed by this product. However, if your dog has eaten treats from the affected batch and is showing signs such as vomiting, drooling, loss of appetite, lethargy, blood in its stool, or signs of abdominal pain or discomfort, seek veterinary attention. If you have any other concerns about your dog after it has eaten this product, contact your veterinarian.

Recall – Petdirect Protein-Packed 100% Natural Bully Sticks Dog Chews, dated Monday 6 July 2026

Petdirect is voluntarily recalling one date code of Petdirect Protein-Packed 100% Natural Bully Sticks Dog Chews.

Affected product

The Best Before date is printed on the pack.

Reason for the recall
Some bags from this date code contain undersized chews, significantly shorter than the intended 10cm length. Undersized chews are small enough to pose a choking hazard to dogs.

Stop using this product
If you have a bag of this product with the Best Before date 25/05/2028, please stop giving it to your dog and check the contents. Any chews that are significantly shorter than 10cm should not be given to your dog. The undersizing is easy to see.

Disposal
You can dispose of the affected product in your general household waste bin. You do not need to return it to receive a refund.

If your dog has been chewing this product
Undersized chews can present a choking risk. If your dog has choked, or is coughing, gagging, drooling excessively, pawing at its mouth, or having any difficulty breathing, seek veterinary attention immediately. If you have any other concerns about your dog after it has chewed this product, contact your veterinarian.
