WashBar Horse & Hound Soap has been designed for larger animals such as horses, big dogs, cattle, goats & other livestock. It is a good old fashioned soap that cleans the animal, leaving them smelling fresh and lemony. The natural active ingredients are antiallergenic, anti-inflammatory, antifungal with insecticidal properties.
The soap is designed to help with skin disorders, repel ticks and lice whilst soothing sensitive skin. When used on horses feedback has been that it helped with mud fever, scald & heat rash, & that ticks just fell off the next day.
For the horse owner, soap is a great way to wash your horse - it won't leak in your tack bag, you won't lose half the bottle when the horse kicks it over part way through the wash, and at the equivalent of over a litre of liquid shampoo in a single bar, it's really economic .
The bars of soap are generously big at approx 185g each, smell great and are ribbed to make it easy to use them directly on the animal.
Saponified Sustainable Palm Oil, Saponified Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerin, Neem Oil, Manuka Pure Essential Oil, Kanuka Pure Essential Oil, Lemon Myrtle Pure Essential Oil, Titanium Dioxide
All ingredients are ethical, natural and fully traceable.
Wet the animal thoroughly with water and either rub the soap directly onto their coat or lather up into a sponge and rub in. Work the soap in with a good massage, getting washed should be enjoyable. Leave the soap in for 3 - 5 minutes. If you're washing a horse or other very large animal, you can do this by leaving soap on one side of the animal while you work on the other. Rinse off with clean water. If using on an animal with ticks, you should expect to see ticks falling off within 24 hours. Resist the temptation to pick off any ticks during the wash. Fleas should fall off the animal straight away.
In the unlikely event of any skin reaction to this product, discontinue use.
Important: Avoid getting soap in animal’s eyes.
This bar lasted around 20 months washing our fox terrier twice a week. Rub it over him while wet and it suds up extremely well. Makes his white fur super white and black fur so shiny and healthy people comment on it. Washes out with ease. He’s got a grass allergy and gets horribly red feet - this stuff calms his itch and redness right down. He seems to actively like the soap and want me to use it when he’s sore (I find him laying outside the shower)! I tried a couple of alternative bars the last month and the difference is striking - his whites less white, his paws so red. Back for more of this for the little guy!
