How can I check if I’ve received my Airpoints Dollars from PetDirect?
You can find out how many Airpoints Dollars you’ve earned on individual purchases at PetDirect when you sign into your online Airpoints account on Air New Zealand’s website.
Airpoints Dollars earned at PetDirect will be loaded onto your Airpoints account within 7 working days of your eligible purchase being transacted.
The Airpoints Dollars I earned at PetDirect aren’t showing in my Airpoints account. What do I do?
First, double-check the date of your purchase. We’ll load any Airpoints Dollars you earn at PetDirect into your Airpoints account within 7 days of your eligible purchase being transacted. If it’s been less than 7 working days, hold tight.
If that time has passed and your Airpoints Dollars still aren’t showing in your account, get in touch with our Customer Support team. We’ll ask to see a copy of your order confirmation, or invoice to confirm that your purchase was eligible to earn Airpoints Dollars. If it was, we’ll confirm your details then follow up with Air New Zealand on your behalf.
When do Airpoints Dollars expire?
Your Airpoints Dollars will remain valid for four years from the date they were accrued to your Account. Following four years from accrual, the Airpoints Dollars will expire and be removed from your Account on the anniversary of the day you joined the Airpoints™ Programme. Can I spend my Airpoints Dollars at PetDirect?
The ability to spend Airpoints Dollars on products or services is not currently available at PetDirect. However, you are able to spend your Airpoints Dollars on a range of products on the Airpoints Store.
What happens when I return the purchase that I earned Airpoints for?
If a purchase is refunded or dishonoured for any reason, any Airpoints Dollars earned from that purchase will be deducted from the Airpoints account that earned the Airpoints Dollars at the time of purchase.

Airpoints™ Terms, Conditions and Exclusions
In partnership with Air New Zealand, PetDirect customers can earn Airpoints Dollars™ in accordance with the terms, conditions and exclusions below:
- You can earn Airpoints Dollars™ each time you make an eligable purchase of goods at www.petdirect.co.nz.
- For purchases to be eligible, customers must have entered their valid Airpoints™ details at the online checkout or at the "Airpoints" page under "My Account" prior to the purchasing of goods.
- Airpoints Dollars™ are awarded at a rate equivalent to 1 Airpoints Dollar™ for every $100 (including GST) spent on the purchase of goods, excluding the cost of delivery.
- We may offer extra Airpoints Dollars™ (Bonus Airpoints Dollars™) on eligable purchases. These goods and/or the number of Bonus Airpoints Dollars™ may change at any time without notice.
- We may also make limited Bonus Airpoints Dollars™ offers direct to all or to selected Airpoints™ member customers at our discretion.
- Airpoints Dollars™ earned through PetDirect will be loaded onto your Airpoints™ account within 7 working days of your eligible purchase having been paid for in full.
- You cannot earn Air New Zealand status points through PetDirect.
- PetDirect and Air New Zealand reserve the right to deduct Airpoints Dollars™ earned through PetDirect from your Airpoints™ account if the payment on which those Airpoints Dollars™ was earned is refunded or dishonoured for any reason.
- We may also collect personal information about you on an anonymised and limited basis from Air New Zealand or its other Airpoints™ partners, including information about your membership of Airpoints™ and about where and when you earn Airpoints Dollars™, and share that information with Air New Zealand and other Airpoints™ partners.
- We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time by giving you at least 30 days’ notice on our website www.petdirect.co.nz. However, we may without notice:
- change these Terms and Conditions at any time if Air New Zealand changes the Air New Zealand Airpoints Terms and Conditions; or
- stop awarding Airpoints Dollars™ to you at any time at our discretion if we cease to be a partner in Air New Zealand’s Airpoints Programme.
- We are not responsible and accept no liability for verifying whether you are the person/entity entitled to earn Airpoints Dollars™ (including Bonus Airpoints Dollars™) in relation to a purchase of goods or whether another person/entity should in fact be the beneficiary of those Airpoints Dollars™.
- We are not responsible and accept no liability for any breach by Air New Zealand or its other Airpoints partners of their obligations to you in respect of the Airpoints Programme.

PetDirect 2x Airpoints Dollars™ Sitewide Promotion Terms and Conditions
- 2x Airpoints Dollars™ sitewide is valid between Friday 24 November to Monday 27 November 2023.
- For purchases to be eligible, customers must have entered their valid Airpoints™ details at the online checkout or at the "Airpoints" page under "My Account" prior to the purchasing of goods and during the promotion period.
- Eligible customers will earn Airpoints Dollars™ at two times the standard Airpoints Dollars™ accrual rate on eligable purchases, during the promotion period.
