We trialled Hill’s Prescription Diet Complete (Skin/Food sensitivity) for our dog, Betty, after months of her chewing and licking her paws. We had both the dry kibble and the wet food, so we’re able to mix things up and keep her interested. After a couple of weeks, we noticed a real improvement. Betty still has the odd moment of paw attention, but the constant paw licking has definitely eased off. The other big win has been her digestion, her poos are noticeably more solid and consistent, which has been a relief after a patch of tummy upset. The food itself seems good (she took to it quickly), and it’s been easy to transition her onto it without any drama. If you’ve got a dog with suspected food sensitivities or itchy skin, it feels like a practical, vet backed option that can actually make a difference. The downsides: you do need a prescription (so it’s not as convenient to just grab off the shelf), and it’s pricey compared to the supermarket
This product is fantastic. My dog had massive skin issues prior to starting this food. He would excessively lick himself and would often get "hot spots" requiring quite a few vet visits. Since starting this product we have moved him completely onto this brand. His skin has improved significantly and he licks less. The product itself is thick coming from the can and comes out easily. The can is also easier to clean than other products I have used

Unfortunately she did not like the food, I tried for several days to give it to her but she wouldn't eat it. So I can't really write a full review of the product. Although she did really like the kibble version of this product and I saw a change in her skin.
I normally feed my dog different brands of dog food and normally she gets stomach upsets which results in her releasing smelly gas from her stomach. Since switching to this prescription diet, I've noticed she's more comfortable and her gas doesn't smell as bad. She also seems to really enjoy the flavour of the food.
My dog is obsessed with this stuff! Although honestly I’m not the biggest fan of wet food due to the smell this one really wasn’t that bad to prepare for him! Also it definitely is worth it as he loves it! We used this alongside the dry food of the same brand and it was gone in almost an instant! Definitely helped settle his sensitive tummy but also definitely helped with his ongoing skin irritations we now think was from other food brands! We definitely will be purchasing more of the wet food for a treat but the dry food is a staple!
