Royal Canin Hypoallergenic is precisely formulated for cats that suffer from adverse food reactions (AFR). Composed of highly digestible, hydrolysed soy protein isolate of low molecular weight peptides. Recommended for cases of: Adverse food reactions (AFR) with dermatologic and/ or gastrointestinal signs.

Feeding instruction: Water should be available at all times. Batch number, factory registration number and best before date: see information on packaging. To be stored in a cool, dry place. Nutritional management with Hypoallergenic may continue for the cat’s lifetime. A veterinarian's opinion should be sought before use, and before extending the period of use. When a food allergy or a food intolerance is suspected, the cat’s diet should be changed following classical food transition (over 5-7 days). Nutritional management with Hypoallergenic may be continued for the pet’s lifetime. However, it is recommended that a health check be performed every 6 months.
Recommended for cases of: Adverse food reactions (AFR) with dermatologic and/ or gastrointestinal signs. Diagnosis: food elimination trial and management. Canine Atopic Dermatitis (CAD) + chronic pruritus, Chronic diarrhea, Inflamatory Bowel disease (IBD), Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). Not recommended in cases of: Growth, gestation/lactation. This diet is complete and balanced and can be fed long-term. A full health check should be performed by a veterinarian every 6 months.

"Great for cats with food allergies "
Posted byBlairon21st Oct 2026Our cat has an unfortunate allergy to chicken, resulting in what I can only describe as projectile diarrhoea - something which isn't fun for anyone involved (or nearby). And unfortunately, chicken is used as an ingredient in almost every dry food for cats. And on top of that, she also has an unfortunate tendency to be a fussy eater. Which has made finding a good food for her rather different, but thankfully this Royal Canin Hypoallergenic product excludes chicken and is (apparently) very tasty. Helps too that it's a good balanced diet for her, as she's an active cat.
