Description:

Your smarty cats will love the challenge of the Rainy Day Puzzle & Play by Nina Ottosson! Cats bat at the pegs, spin the wheel, and swivel the raindrops to uncover the 14 hidden treat compartments. Adjust the difficulty of the puzzle to make it easier for beginners or more challenging for super smarty cats. Let the games begin!

Replace your standard bowl and feed your cat from the puzzle to engage their natural hunting and foraging instincts. The puzzle holds up to 1/4 cup of food, and can be used with both wet and dry food / treats. It is made with food-safe materials that you can trust with your kitty.

Stimulates cats’ natural foraging instincts. Cats "hunt" for their reward by batting the pegs and swatting the raindrops to reveal hidden treats. Especially designed for cats, with their natural movements and instincts in mind, and shallow treat cups to access the treats.

Key Benefits:

  • Fights boredom by keeping your cat busy – Boredom Busters
  • Helps reduce destructive behavior by exercising your cat’s mind.

  • "Design flaw… but cat likes it overall. "

Brought this for our smart cat, she figured it out straight away. She seemed to enjoy it as she’s very food driven. However, as the other reviewer mentioned we also received one with a warped/stiff wheel. It seems to be a recurring issue once I did a quick search of reviews on other sites, so I believe it’s a design flaw. My cat can still move it but it’s difficult, and I don’t want to frustrate her. Will probably buy the ladybug design next as that has better reviews and seems sturdier.

I like this range, we had got another one of this range previously and wanted a 'level up'. I do like the design of this one, and it is suitably more advanced, however the spin wheel is 'sticky'. It seems as if it has been positioned slightly off centre or the wheel is not flat (looks curved up at the sides) and so keeps getting caught. Unfortunately this makes it too stiff for our cat to move comfortably. Disappointing :(

Our cat didn't really warm up to Rainy Day. We purchased Bugging Out for her, and she loved it, but mastered it by her second use. Thought we'd step up her game by introducing Rainy Day. It's a nope. Our cat will move things around, but won't work hard enough to empty the full puzzle (she waits until her next feeding time, when we shake all the kibble out before giving her fresh food). I think she's confused by the wheel?? I passed this on to my friends cat, and her fur baby loves it!
