Description:

Royal Canin Maine Coon Adult food is specially formulated with the needs of this particular breed in mind. You can rest assured that catering to your Maine Coon’s nutritional requirements is just as important to us as it is to you. The Maine Coon is the largest domesticated cat in the world, and its impressive stature is combined with a truly sweet nature. Its solid bone structure and muscular body can make it three times heavier than the average cat. Due to its large size and bone structure, particular attention must be given to ensuring the general health and condition of its joints. Royal Canin Maine Coon Adult food is enriched with Taurine, DHA and EPA (omega-3 fatty acids) to help support and maintain healthy cardiac function.

Please Note: Royal Canin® takes pride in ensuring the scientific reliability of all product information. The information in this product listing was true and accurate at the time of publication. Key Benefits:

Healthy heart: ROYAL CANIN® Maine Coon Adult Dry Cat Food contains nutrients Taurine, EPA and DHA, which helps to support cardiac health.

Bone & joint health: Maine Coons are the tallest and heaviest of pure breed cats. Their imposing stature can put a strain on joints. This formula is enriched with Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) to help maintain healthy bones and joints.

Healthy skin & coat: Maine Coons have a dense coat with a fine undercoat. This formula includes a combination of amino acids, vitamins and fatty acids (Omega-6 and Omega-3 fatty acids) to help support skin and coat health.

Exclusive kibble Maine Coon

Exclusive Kibble: ROYAL CANIN® Maine Coon Adult Dry Cat Food features a king-size tailor-made kibble that's adapted to Maine Coons' unique, large squared-shaped jaw, encouraging them to chew and help support oral hygiene.

Why Pure Breed Cats Need Tailored Nutrition

When choosing a diet for your pet, keep in mind the unique characteristics of their breed, including:

Face and Jaw: Pure breed cats come in many different jaw shapes and sizes. Some breeds have broad jaws (like Ragdolls) while others have large, square-shaped jaws (like Maine Coons) or flat, short jaws (like Persians). The jaw type and even biting patterns can affect how a breed picks up kibble.

Body Types: Not all cat breeds have the same body type. Some have long and muscular physiques while others have imposing statures that can put strain on joints. Precise levels of key nutrients help support a breed's unique needs for their body type.

Distinctive Coats: There's more to a coat than meets the eye. From different hair lengths to undercoats, each pure breed cat has a unique coat with unique needs.

We love our Royal Canin especially for us Maine Coons. Since the hoomans bought it for us to eat we have loved eating it , the bigger nuggets are so much better than regular cat food we can chew them & that helps us so much as now we don’t vomit straight after eating like we did after hoovering up the other brands with tiny nuggets. We are 10 years old & were getting skinny but now we’ve not as skinny & feel so much healthier now :)

Both our MCs love this, one has always been a fussy eater, and the other eats anything, both complain if they’re not fed on time now. It’s great to see them both enjoying their food !

This is a great food for adult Maine Coons. My boy loves the size (considerably bigger than regular kibble) which is great for his teeth and is happy to eat it. It’s also great value for money when you buy the 10kg bag (mine eats about 2kg food in a month).
