Animals Like Us RawMix50 with Grass-Fed Lamb Freeze Dried Dog Food

Long time dog owner. First time reviewer. I’ve fed my dogs all manner of food. But dry kibble became the default as it’s easy (to source, to store, to serve) - but over time became aware of many things. Its quality is variable and deteriorating with fillers etc. It is, in my opinion, dog fast food. Now, with Harley our springer, his breeder was a working breed, very few litters and feed their dogs on an entirely raw diet. We couldn’t do this - work and life makes this hard. So I went on a massive autism sidequest to find the right food. Queue ‘mass marketing hype train’. I explored ‘vet preferred’ foods they sell - and quickly realised vets actually don’t know best. They buy in to the hype train (and probably commercial inducements). This led me to Arcana and Orijen - ‘the best’. But again - lifting the hood alarmed me. Then I saw RawMix33 and tried it (well, as tempting as it is, Harley tried it). He loved it. I don’t simply mean wagging tail. I mean head in the container trying to climb in. Then I found RawMix50. Now this is all I buy for both Harley and his daughter Zoey. They love it. We get doggy speak and barks if we are too slow serving it up, multiple dog spins as we carry it to their mat and their bowls are slowly getting thinner as the eat the food as fast as possible and lick them clean to make sure they get it all. They even love it as treats. Now this is great in all. But what is more telling is their energy levels, bright eyes, glossy coats, clean teeth (I brush them weekly to check), happy selves and glowing responses from the vets on their health. Your dogs give you so much in their short lives. You should be giving them the best life you can. Do you and them a favour and get this dog food. It is a no regret purchase.
