"So far, it's great"
Posted byCamillaon26th Apr 2026Big investment, so I had done a lot of research before buying. So far, this is great. A lot of the machines have a lot of added benefits that I don’t really see adding value, such as a camera (I don’t need a recording of my cat do his business, but you do you). This machine has an app link which is great for understand use while the cat adjusts to it, and being able to clean it remotely is great. Our cat is used to wood chip litter so getting him adjusted was interesting as you can use it in the box. However, we just had it turned on but on kitten mode (means you can track use to make sure using it, but won’t turn ‘on’ so you can manually empty out through the transition). This worked great, then we mixed the litter with a tofu one and finally just used the tofu clumping one. It’s quiet, so doesn’t freak him out when it cleans. I think we will switch to a finer litter soon as with the current tofu one we are finding it’s removing a little too much into the bin but I think it’s just a process to find the best option. Huge investment, but so far we’re pretty pleased.
