The Argus pet heating pad produces a gentle heat and is not thermostatically controlled. When initially plugged in you will not feel any heat, but when set up correctly the heating pad will generate a gentle heat. The heating pad is designed to be used with or without a thin material covering over top of the pad.

Posted byGrahamon20th Sep 2022Would give 5 stars, but just waiting to see how long this product lasts. My elderly cat has severe arthritis plus was recently diagnosed with a bronchial infection. He’s always been a heat-seeking entity and loves his heat pad. So when the last one suddenly died, during a cold-snap, getting another pronto was essential. Ordered on a Sunday afternoon (why do these things occur on weekends?), new one arrived on Tuesday. So impressed with the service. My cat would give 5 stars.
