Description:

The next generation in feline parasite control, NEXGARD SPECTRA for Cats is a monthly spot-on treatment that kills and prevents flea, tick, mite and ALL species of worm infestations in cats and kittens.

The broadest spectrum parasite treatment available for cats; it kills fleas, ticks, ear mites and worms, including tapeworms.

Treating only for fleas, treats only half the problem. Make sure you treat your cat for worms too. Monthly administration delivers optimal parasitecontrol for both internal and external parasites.

HUNTING – While we’d prefer them not to, cats are known to chase and hunt rodents such as mice, birds and other small wild prey that can host parasitic worms, including tapeworms.

GROOMING – When grooming, cats swallow anywhere between 18-50% of their fleas.1,2 Fleas are intermediate hosts for the tapeworm Dipylidium caninum which means cats can become infected with tapeworms by swallowing fleas.

ROAMING – Adventures around the neighbourhood, in gardens, local parks and public places where other animals go, expose kiwi cats to fleas and worms all year round.

Roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms represent zoonotic risk. If cats are not routinely dewormed, pet owners and their families (especially young children) are at increased risk of exposure and infection. NEXGARD SPECTRA for Cats helps protect against these zoonotic parasites.

ZOONOSIS – THE DEFINITION OF ZOONOSIS IS A DISEASE WHICH CAN BE TRANSMITTED TO HUMANS FROM ANIMALS.

My most favourite thing about this product is how easy it is to apply with the syringe looking applicator. My anxious cat usually runs away when I apply flee treatment on him because of the very strong smell, but he seems not to mind this brand at all! I keep coming back to this and purchasing it whenever it is on sale.

After trying and failing to get tablets into the Cat this is WAY easier and seems to work! Despite it being costly I would use it every time :-)

  • "My absolute go to"

I have purchased other brands before but as I have a cat that spends alot of time outdoor I find the monthly better than the 3 monthly as I can see in the last month of the 3 monthly products that he starts scratching again as well as the other brands which I have also tried, he just kept scrathing through all of them, but then realised they were very much like the smell of ISO which litterally just evaporated. Nexgard has a nice oilyness to the product that sticks to his fur and penetrate way better.

Nice and easy to use so it doesn't upset the cat too much. Don't know if it worked on the gut as the cat is still a voracious eater.
