Meow is made using only the highest quality ingredients aimed at nourishing your pet's health. We combine the nutrition and taste of fresh, raw food and put it through a gentle freeze-drying process which protects all the natural enzymes and nutrients, so none of the wholesome goodness is cooked out.
Meow offers a convenient, shelf stable and safe way to feed a wholesome and complete diet, as close to raw as possible.
Nourish your pets from the inside out, naturally. Our recipes are high protein, species appropriate diets, with over 97% meat, organs, and bones, and contain NZ Green Mussel, a natural super food rich in nutrients and vitamins. Supplemented with a nutrient dense blend of Kelp, Manuka Honey, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, and Hoki Oil, to support digestion, healthy skin & coat, essential brain & eye development and overall health and wellbeing.
Manufactured in small batches right here in New Zealand, using sustainably sourced fresh local ingredients brimming with earth-grown goodness. With no wheat, corn, soy, meals, grain, gluten, artificial preservatives or colouring, just simply delicious, nutritious food that your pet will love!
Meow is complete and balanced for daily feeding or can be used as a high-value topper or treat.
To serve - simply combine an equal part of food to room temperature or slightly warm water (eg 1/4 cup Meow to to 1/4 cup water). Let it soak for 10 minutes to unlock the desired succulent, meaty texture. Cats have a short digestive tract designed to quickly break down and absorb foods. Rehydrating their meal helps improve digestibility, while enhancing flavours, texture, and palatability.

Feeding Guidelines:
Serving Guide:
- Daily Meal: Recommended to rehydrate, for a meatier texture and optimal digestion. Add 1/4 cup of water for every 1/4 cup of freeze dried, soak for 5-10 mins and serve. Remove uneaten food after 30 minutes.
- Topper: Provide your pet with a nutritional meal boost by sprinkling on their food as a topper or mixing it their meal – either dried or rehydrated.
- Treat: Offer dried as a tasty and nutritious treat.
Make sure fresh water is available at all times.
Feeding recommendations are a guide only. Individual requirements may vary due to age, breed, environment and activity levels. For kittens, pregnant and nursinmg females, feed twice the amount indicated above in 2-3 servings per day,
If mixed feeding, reduce total daily calories accordingly to maintain optimal weight or growth.

Storage & Handling:
Wash your hands thoroughly after handling any pet food or treat. This is a natural product; some crumbling may occur.
Transitioning to Meow:
When transitioning from a cooked food such as kibble, you should go slowly and gradually increase the portion of raw food each day as you decrease the other food. Most Vets typically recommend transitioning over 7-10 days.
Cats can be especially picky and may take longer to adjust to new smells, textures, and tastes. Patience and persistence are key!
Transition Guide: Complete Diet
- Days 1-2: 25% new diet + 75% current food
- Days 3-4: 50% new diet + 50% current food
- Days 5-6: 75% new diet + 25% current food
- Days 7-10: 100% new food
A slow transition can help ease digestive upsets that can occur when moving to a new food. Symptoms can include diarrhea, constipation, or vomiting, if this occurs, reduce the pace and if concerned speak with your vet.
