Description:

Suitable for Cocker Spaniels over 12 months old, ROYAL CANIN® Cocker Adult is specially formulated with all the nutritional needs of your dog in mind.

To help maintain the health of your dog’s skin and coat, ROYAL CANIN® Cocker Adult contains an exclusive complex of nutrients that helps to support the skin’s barrier role. Enriched with borage oil, vitamin A, and Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), this formula helps to keep your dog’s coat nourished for optimal health. The Cocker Spaniel breed has a tendency to have a very healthy appetitie. That’s why it’s important to help your dog maintain an ideal weight. ROYAL CANIN® Cocker Adult features an optimal formulation, including controlled fat content, in order to limit energy intake on a daily basis.

ROYAL CANIN® Cocker Adult’s exclusive formula also helps to support your dog’s cardiac health, thanks to a specific combination of nutrients that contribute to maintaining health of the cardiac muscle. What’s more, the shape and size of the kibble in ROYAL CANIN® Cocker Adult is tailor-made exclusively for the Cocker Spaniel breed.

This formula contains calcium chelators, which help to slow down the formation and build-up of tartar – ultimately supporting your dog’s dental hygiene.

Breed Specific Formulas
Every dog is unique. From the small, flat-faced Pug to the obesity-prone Labrador Retriever, ROYAL CANIN® Breed Health Nutrition is tailor-made to address the unique needs of pure breed dogs. These breed specific formulas benefit from the latest ROYAL CANIN® research on the selection of the best protein sources, unique nutrients and tailor-made kibbles.

Formulated for Cocker Spaniels

ROYAL CANIN® Cocker Spaniel Adult Dry Dog Food is designed exclusively for pure breed Cocker Spaniels over 12-months of age.

Healthy skin & coat: Food plays an important part in maintaining skin and coat health. Royal Canin Cocker Spaniel Adult Dry Dog Food helps support the skin's role as a barrier with a tailored nutrient profile, and helps maintain skin and coat health with added EPA and DHA.

Ideal weight: Excess weight gain can affect the health of Cocker Spaniels, so an appropriately balanced food is necessary for their health. This formula helps maintain their ideal weight with an adapted nutrient profile.

Healthy cardiac function: Cocker Spaniels are prone to cardiac sensitivities, so this formula helps support cardiac health with added Taurine, EPA and DHA.

Exclusive kibble cocker spaniel

Exclusive Kibble: Cocker Spaniels have a broad and deep muzzle and square, even jaws. This kibble has been adapted to allow for easier pick up while encouraging chewing.

Why Pure Breed Dogs Need Tailored Nutrition
From their personalities to their distinctive physiologies, pure breed dogs have unique characteristics that make them sought-after and beloved companions. When choosing a diet for your pet, it's important to keep in mind the unique characteristics of their breed including:

Face and Jaw: All dogs fall into two basic jaw types: Brachycephalic or Mesocephalic. Breeds with short, broad muzzles (like Bulldogs) are examples of a brachycephalic jaw. Breeds with a longer muzzle (like Labrador Retrievers) are examples of mesocephalic breeds. The jaw type, and even biting patterns can affect how a breed picks up kibble. All ROYAL CANIN® breed diets feature a tailor-made kibble shape to meet their unique needs.

Skin Types: The skin's most important function is to serve as a barrier of protection - but not all breeds have the same skin type. From wrinkled and folded (which traps heat and moisture) to sensitive or water resistant, precise levels of key nutrients are included in ROYAL CANIN® breed diets to help support their unique skin health needs.

Distinctive Coats: There's more to a coat than meets the eye. From the colour and texture to undercoats, each pure breed dog has a unique coat with unique needs which are catered for with ROYAL CANIN® breed diets.

My three cockers love this. After one week I have noticed a difference in their coats. They all seem a bit glossier.

Great biscuits. My dog is very healthy with a soft, shiny coat. Recommend these.
