Nexgard is a soft beef-flavoured chew that is for oral consumption only. For ease of dosing, it can be given with or without food. Remove only one chew at a time from the foil-backed blister card. It is a highly palatable chew that is readily consumed by dogs when offered as a treat. Alternatively, it may be added to a small amount of dog food if desired.

I like that nexgard provides the choice of having the tablet with or with out the tick element. We don't have alot of ticks here so there is no need (except when we go camping) to put extra chemicals into the dogs.
