Black Hawk Original Large Breed Puppy Lamb & Rice or Black Hawk Original Large Breed Puppy Chicken & Rice are specially formulated by pet nutritionists and vets to help large breed puppies thrive and support optimal bone and joint development.
Ideal feeding quantities may vary by breed, age, activity level, body condition and neutered status. Pregnant or nursing dogs may need food available at all times.

Transitioning to Black Hawk: When changing foods, it is important to do so gradually so your pet gets used to new flavours and textures with minimal risk of digestive upset. We suggest a slow transition over one week, for example: Days 1-2 add 25% new food mixed into existing diet, Days 3-4: 50%, Days 5-6: 75%, Day 7: 100%. Slow down the mixing rate should your pet exhibit any gastrointestinal distress or avoidance to ensure the transition to their new diet is smooth.
