How is the delivery fee calculated?
The fee is dynamically calculated based on the distance between your nearest eligible Petdirect store and your delivery address. You'll see the exact amount before confirming your order — no surprises
What's the latest I can order?
You need to place your order at least 1 hour before the closing time of your nearest eligible store. If you miss the cut-off, the DoorDash option won't appear at checkout. Check store hours on our website. Find your local store hours here.
Can I cancel after placing my order?
Once your order is assigned to a Dasher, it can't be cancelled. Contact our Customer Care team as quickly as possible on 0800 200 240. Cancellations before dispatch follow our standard Returns & Refunds Policy.
What happens if my delivery fails?
If the Dasher can't complete delivery (locked gate, incorrect address, etc.) your items return to the store. The original delivery fee is non-refundable and a return fee may apply. Ensure your address and access details are correct at checkout. Contact Customer Care to arrange a refund or re-delivery.
Is it available on public holidays?
No — DoorDash delivery runs during Petdirect store trading hours only. It's not available on public holidays when stores are closed or during any temporary closures.
