Our play zone is in the lounge which is carpeted so it just sat there and vibrated. He was intrigued and somewhat scared but when he went to explore it with his nose, he didn’t like how it felt. I finally had to take the ball out of the Trixie Flashing ball race which I’d bought on here, and substitute this caterpillar and it went around like a cho choo train, and then it was so much fun for about a couple of days but he soon lost interest. It does not right itself as advertised. Maybe worth the price if you have hardwood or vinyllike floors?

Honestly this toy is amazing, around half of our house has vinyl lining so the toy works great. Our kitten loves playing with it, but you need to watch when they’re playing because since the toy moves on its own it can get stuck or lost (we may have lost ours already despite only getting it a few days ago, will have to buy another one!)

    - for the humans, as well as the cat! The silicon 'legs' don't move, the vibrations it makes when turned on propel it around. Have to put it on a hard surface, as it won't work on carpet. My cat will intently watch it move around before making her move (it's very good at being prey). When it's off and on the table, she will jump up and sit by it, wanting to play.
