Granulated colour food for vibrant colours in all aquarium fish from 3-10 cm or size M for fish 8-20cm. JBL ProNovo range follows the biological species concept for ornamental fish, ensuring your fish can be fed targeted, natural food, species-appropriate, and in an optimal composition.
Fish show their colours with almost any food, but their colouring can be intensified by certain types of food, just like in humans with a diet of carrots. Mating or dominant males show how intense the colours can be in fish. JBL does not use cheap carotene, however, but natural astaxanthin (also a carotene) obtained from krill shrimp and spirulina algae. This is considerably more expensive, but it is a natural way to promote the beautiful colours of the fish.
The composition of JBL PRONOVO COLOR has been chosen so that it can also be used as a staple food like JBL PRONOVO BEL.
The biological species concept for ornamental fish: In addition to a staple food such as JBL PRONOVO BEL or JBL PRONOVO COLOR for community aquariums, your fish can also be fed with foods from the JBL PRONOVO species concept. Within the species concept, you can add food ideally suitable for particular fish species or select alternatives for the main food. It’s no problem if, for example, your fighting fish also eats the food for your barbels and vice versa. It is only important that you offer the right food for each group of fish. Variety is always a good thing!
