The X-Link™ harness has been designed with one goal in mind - to help you enjoy a more comfortable walking experience with your dog.
The front D-ring offers the training and behavioral benefits, with the option to switch to the rear D-ring at any time to use as standard dog walking harness. You can also train your dog to a point where the front D-ring option is no longer necessary, at which point you can switch to the rear D-ring without having to purchase another harness.
Choose the X-Link™ Harness for more control over your dog. Once your dog is under control, you can both look forward to more enjoyable and comfortable dog walks.
For best fit measure the girth of the dog. This is the area behind the front legs and around the body. The neck will typically fall into place once girth is determined. If the measurement is close to the end of the size range, go up to the larger size.
Size | Girth |
Small | 41 - 60 cm |
Medium | 56 - 70 cm |
Large | 71 - 85 cm |
Extra Large | 86 - 100 cm |
We've tried every style of harness for our corgi cross and vallhund. They can go from angels to squabbling escape artist nutcases the second a rabbit is sighted, and solid necks/small heads mean harnesses are a necessity if one of us is walking them both at once. Plus, harnesses are a must in the car for safety. These x-link harnesses are much pricier than the rest we've tried, but worth it. For a start, they are fixed in place at both neck AND chest, so no twisting, even when using a leash splitter which adds lateral tension. Other styles all have a floating connection at the back of the part that goes around the chest, which just encourages twisting. They also have really good quality cinches and fittings, they do not budge unless you work the straps through each point manually. You can't adjust them on the dog if you're trying to, so there's no way they loosen on their own. Every other style of harness we've tried loosened on its own, some of them during a single walk. Lots of thoughtful design features too, I love that loose strap ends tuck neatly away, especially given they don't need adjusting after the first set up. This makes them feel custom made for your dog. There's a touch of elastic around the chest part, and padding in the right places, so both our dogs seem comfortable walking with their harnesses cinched securely - even when one stops suddenly for a sniff. They're super reflective, which I didn't realise would make such a difference for walking them on dark shared footpath cycleways at night. Cyclists are slowing down and giving us space instead of appearing out of nowhere at speed. All that and they even added front clasps. Could've done with that feature when training them back when! I really wish we'd found these harnesses before trying all the others. If you're using a harness over a collar you probably are worried about security and comfort for whatever reason. These deliver both and more.
