When trying any new food, always take your time. Mix a little of their new food in with your pet’s old food at first. Over 1 to 2 weeks, increase their new food and decrease their old food a little more each day. 1 week is fine for most pets but for puppies and kittens, or for sensitive pets or fussy eaters, change foods over 2 weeks instead.
