Surolan is a veterinary-specific medication formulated with Miconazole Nitrate, an antifungal agent, Polymyxin B Sulphate, an antibiotic, and Prednisolone, an anti-inflammatory component. It is specially designed to treat bacteria, fungal and ear mite infections as well as provide an anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect for skin infections.

On very rare occasions, the use of this product may be associated with deafness, mainly in elderly dogs. If this occurs, treatment should be stopped. Decreased hearing or deafness is reversible in the majority of cases.
