Aristopet No Scratch contains a blend of essential oils that discourage cats from scratching the treated area. No Scratch has a mild odour, which is pleasant to humans but obnoxious to cats.
Using a cat scratching post will accommodate your cat's natural instinct to scratch and claw in an appropriate place, use catnip spray on the scratching post as an attractant if required.
Hold the spray 15-20cm away form the area to be treated and spray liberally. Repeat application every 12 to 24 hours until your cat stops scratching the area.
If spraying on fabric, leather or carpet etc, first test on an inconpicuous area for colour fastness and staining.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Bought this to spray on mats to encourage our cat to scratch only certain mats. Has done nothing at all.
Two of our cats have taken to scratching the carpet around doorways to get us to open the door for them! From the first application, 'No Scratch' stopped that. We repeat every few days, but highly recommend this product.
This product works. Orange scent which is pleasant to us but our cat won't go near it! We do need to reapply each day but I great way to keep our cat away from her favorite scratching furniture.
