Description:

With the EHEIM precision heaters your fish receive exactly the right temperature – in any aquarium.

Fully submersible and made in Germany, the Eheim Thermocontrol Aquarium heater is engineered to the highest quality, safety, ease of use and precision standards.

The EHEIM Thermocontrol adjustable heater is an ultra-modern electronic thermal device with the best available technology. A jacket made from special laboratory glass protects the heating rod and increases the heating surface, serving as a heat shield and ensures optimum even heat emission.

Key Benefits:

  • Precise temperature adjustment from 18 up to 34 °C
  • Suitable for fresh and salt water.
  • Simple and safe recalibration (±2 °C)
  • Temperature control accuracy (± 0,5 °C )
  • Heating function indicator by a control lamp.
  • Completely submersible (watertight) with temperature and shock resistance glass.
  • Automatic dry run shut-off (Thermo Safety Control)
  • Glass jacket increases the heating surface and ensures optimum even heat emission
  • Handy cable length ca. 170 cm
  • Included double suction cup holder
  • Multiple sizes available 50-300W to suit a variety of aquariums.

Size Guide:

  • 50W =  25 - 60L
  • 100W = 100 - 150L
  • 150W = 200 - 300L
  • 200W = 300 - 400L
  • 300W = 600 - 1000L

Wattage indication is a guide only.  Always monitor for consistent aquarium temperature using an aquarium thermometer, sold separately.

If temperature does not hold constant even temperatures, consider increasing wattage of heater.  In large aquariums multiple lower wattage heaters may be used at each end to ensure optimum balanced temperatures.

Seasonal temperature changes or cold houses may cause temperature fluctuations.

Directions:

  • Clean and rinse heater before use.
  • Always turn heater off and leave to cool before removing from aquarium.
  • Never place a hot heater directly into water, (risk of breakage).
  • Check heater regularly for any signs of damage.
  • Monitor temperatures using an appropriate aquarium thermometer.
