BioPet Travel for Pets is professionally formulated to assist with a healthy immune response to motion sickness and travel anxiety.
Any travel by car, plane or boat should be a pleasant and enjoyable experience for you and your pet. However, pets (and people) who suffer from motion sickness may find that even a short trip can literally end in a mess. BioPet Travel is the key to happy, healthy, travelling for your beloved pet.
BioPet products are an innovative range of compound herbal and homeopathic remedies, the culmination of 15 year’s clinical veterinary experience. Designed specifically for animals by Head of Research and Development Fiona Lane, in conjunction with New Zealand's leading Veterinary Homeopath Dr Brett Christian, BioPet products enable you to use natural medicine for your pet health need.
Contains: Cist, Cocc, Nux, Pet 30c, Kawakawa, Passion Flower, Valerian.
Base: Glyc/Water
A dose consists of 2 pumps of remedy onto the tongue, gums or lips. Can also be given on a piece of food. Most pets love the sweet taste but if your pet is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums. They do not need to swallow the dose, it just has to come into contact with their tongue or gums.
We recommend you give your first dose of BioPet Travel as soon as your pet realises they are going on a journey as they often experience anticipatory anxiety.
Give another dose just before setting off on your trip.
Only repeat the dose if you see signs of travel sickness such as drooling, whining or panting. You can give 2 doses 15-20 minutes apart if needed.
Sometimes it can be helpful to stop the car and give your pet a dose before tackling a particularly windy or stressful stretch of road where they are likely to feel carsick.
As your pet learns that they can travel without motion sickness, they are likely to need the remedy less.
Remedies are dispensed in a 90ml food grade aluminium bottle with a hygienic serum pump lid with over-cap.
90ml bottle = 230 doses
Other hints for travelling by car with pets:
Ensure they can see out a window.
Many pets feel more secure in a cage or crate but please be extra careful to ensure they are not in direct sun where they might overheat.
Maintain good air circulation and open the window occasionally to let fresh air in.
If you stop to stretch your legs and give your pets a toilet stop, please ensure your pet is securely harnessed so they can't run off and get lost or hurt.
Sadly I used this 2 to three times before travelling in my Motor home. Aitkens made no difference at all over a few weeks. I also gave it to a friends dog for two days it didn’t help him either.
