Azopt eye drops, containing the active ingredient brinzolamide, is a medication prescribed to treat glaucoma in dogs and cats. Glaucoma is an eye condition that causes increased pressure inside the eye, which can cause pain, damage the optic nerve, and lead to vision loss. 

Azopt works by inhibiting an enzyme that produces fluid in the eye. This lowers the pressure in the eye, alleviating discomfort and reducing the risk of eye damage.
