Ursosan is a medication used for managing liver and gallbladder diseases. Urosan contains the active ingredient Ursodeoxycholic Acid. It is a synthetically produced bile acid that improves bile flow, reduces the absorption of toxic bile acids, and helps eliminate toxins. It facilitates digestion and absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins in the intestine. It may be prescribed to help dissolve certain types of gallbladder stones.
