Lantus Insulin 3ml Cartridges are a type of human insulin a veterinarian may prescribe to treat diabetic pets, primarily cats. The 3ml cartridges are designed to be used with a reusable insulin pen, or may be used with a 100U syringe and needle. Using insulin pens can help to make giving insulin to pets easier.

Lantus Insulin contains the active ingredient insulin glargine. In a diabetic pet, the body does not produce enough insulin. Lantus Insulin works as replacement insulin, allowing the glucose in the blood to be absorbed and lowering the blood glucose levels.

Lantus Insulin 3ml cartridge contain 100U/ml insulin glargine (100 units per ml). Sold as individual 3ml cartridge. Always use as directed by your veterinarian.

Active Ingredient:

Each cartridge contains 3ml of 100IU/ml insulin glargine.

Refrigerated Medication:

This medication requires refrigeration. Our team will do our best to keep it chilled during delivery. We ship medications that require refrigeration in tested and certified insulated packaging. The packaging contains frozen gel packs and keeps your pet’s medication at a safe temperature for 72 hours.

We pack orders with refrigerated medications just before dispatch to maintain their cool temperature. If you order a refrigerated medication on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, it will ship on Monday.

Once the medication has left us, the environment it is kept in is out of our control. Refrigerated medication should be cool to the touch on arrival. If it is not, please contact our customer care team.

Please provide an urban address for delivery. If you might not be home at the time of delivery, leave a chilly bin with ice outside the door.
