Coat Type: Full-body clipping for smaller adult dogs with lighter, thinner coats. Also rated for full body clipping for puppies of all breeds and sizes when they have their lighter, thinner puppy coat (before they get their adult coat).

Rated for clipping cats (legs, neck, tails, lion cuts, sanitary trims, belly shaves).

Rated for trimming adult dogs of all sizes, all breeds & all coat types for sensitive / delicate areas (trimming means tidying up faces, around eyes and mouth, trimming under and inside ears, tidying up feet, trimming between paw pads, genitals & abdomen - not for full body clipping or thick/matted coats).

Note that trimming and full body clipping are not the same.

Important: For full body clipping for difficult, thick or matted coats, double or non-shed coats, wool or wiry coats upgrade to a heavy duty or super duty model, like the KM2 or Wahl KM Inspire

*Make your clipper last: Help maintain the longevity of your clipper by using the cleaning brush provided and regularly oiling the blades with Wahl Clipper Oil. Additionally, ensure the animal is clean before clipping as this will give you a better cutting.
