She will lick it off though so I found the trick is to apply it right before we go for a walk so it has a good length of time to soak in. Her red inflamed skin on tummy has completely cleared up after a week.

My dog has extremely short hair and often will get scrapes and broken skin on the tops of her toes and red inflammation in between pads and toes. Great to use after exposure to wandering willy, just wash your dogs feet and dry then apply liberally to the paws. Overnight healing for minor scrapes and grazes. I use this balm on myself also, all over my feet and elbows. It works for psoriasis and excema. Just brilliant stuff. Whole heartedly recommend this product. Better than anything the vet can give you for skin problems.
