This comprehensive kit provides 24 tests for essential water parameters, including pH, nitrite, nitrate, carbonate hardness, and more. Simply dip a test strip into the water, scan it using the ProScan app on your smartphone, and receive instant, accurate results along with tailored recommendations for water maintenance.  With its user-friendly interface and precise measurements, this kit ensures optimal water quality for your aquatic inhabitants, making aquarium maintenance easier and more efficient than ever before.

Key Benefits:

  • Water analysis and diagnosis via smartphone: easy and safe control of the water values in freshwater aquariums
  • For the measurement of: general hardness, carbonate hardness, pH value, nitrite, nitrate, chlorine and CO2 calculation
  • Fast diagnosis – precise results: test value results are displayed as numbers and additionally evaluated (good/medium/poor).
  • Additional recommendations for optimal values in freshwater aquariums and ponds
  • Compatible with iPhone and iPad: iOS 5.0 or higher, Android 4.0 or higher and a camera with autofocus needed.
  • Contents: 24 water analysis strips, 1 ProScan colour chart, 1 ProScan app for free download

Directions:

Carefully follow instructions on pack.

Tests should be conducted weekly for established aquariums, and every few days for new aquariums.

  • Simply press the start button on your phone, then dip one of the ProScan test strips into your aquarium for a few seconds
  • Position the test strip onto the ColourCard and wait until the displayed time has expired
  • Now scan with your smartphone and the app will summarise your water parameters, including a note of any readings that might require attention.

Note: The test strips are only intended for one measurement each. A repeated scan of the strip leads to different values, since the strip goes on reacting indefinitely.

Possible errors during use: When removing the test strip from the water, do not shake it vertically, as the wet colours will then run into the other colour fields. It needs to be drained off HORIZONALLY and carefully. Without dripping off, the drops on the colour fields reflect the light too strongly and lead to inaccurate results. Photographing the test strip on the colour chart should ideally be done in daylight. But even more important is that the incidence of light is uniform and does not show partial shadows and partial sunlight. If this were the case, the colours on the colour chart would be illuminated differently.
