  • Strong protective casing
  • Fully submersible
  • LED indicator light
  • Adjustable temperature range of 20°C to 34°C
  • Suitable For: Coldwater, Freshwater Tropical and Marine
  • Heater casing protects fish from coming into direct contact with the heating element
  • The heater incorporates thermal cut-off technology. When the water reaches the set temperature the heater will shut off, and switches back on once the temperature drops
  • Adhesive suction cups to secure your heater to the aquarium
  • Suitable for use in glass, plastic or acrylic aquariums

Size Guide:

  • 500W = 500L

When selecting an appropriate heater size 1 Watt (1W) per 1 Litre (1L) of water is recommended as a starting point. (eg. a 150W heater is suitable for aquariums up to 150L).

Wattage indication is a guide only.  Always monitor for consistent aquarium temperature using an aquarium thermometer, sold separately.

If temperature does not hold constant even temperatures, consider increasing wattage of heater.  In large aquariums multiple lower wattage heaters may be used at each end to ensure optimum balanced temperatures.

Seasonal temperature changes or cold houses may cause temperature fluctuations.

Directions:

  • Clean and rinse heater before use
  • Monitor temperatures using an appropriate aquarium thermometer
  • Never place a hot heater directly into water, (risk of breakage)
  • Check heater regularly for any signs of damage
  • Monitor temperatures using an appropriate aquarium thermometer
  • For full set up instructions, please refer to the instruction booklet included
  • Always disconnect the heaters power supply prior to working on the aquarium
  • If removing the heater from the aquarium, turn it off at the power supply, wait 10-15 minutes to allow it to cool and then remove it from the aquarium
  • The heater should not come in contact with the gravel or substrate
