An awesome meal has all the nutrition a young puppy needs. I also add some rice or some diced vegetables for a bit of variety for our little shih-tzu Lily. She woofs it down so quickly and even licks the bowl clean.

mother had this before giving birth (as well as other puppy food). Puppies started on it at just over 4 weeks, mixed with puppy milk. Now on to it without milk. After a week they are beginning to get the hang of eating it, but it sure is a messy business!
