Give your kitty a safe way to get inside while keeping unwanted guests out with the SureFlap Microchip Cat Door.
Just like giving your cat their own house key, this flap door is smart enough to know who’s allowed in and who’s not. It works by picking up on your cat’s unique microchip or collar tag, and only opens to let your kitty in, while staying closed for all other animals. Simply program in your cat’s microchip with just one button―you can store up to 32 cats in the system―and install on any door, window or wall. It has no cumbersome cables, and features a manual 4-way lock that lets you control when your cat comes and goes, even a setting to keep him inside at night. The system is compatible with all microchips and RFID collar tags.

We got this for our kitty. She is a very small cat, she fits perfectly fine through it, but I must say even her very large friend that sometimes comes to play can fit through it just fine. Getting a second one to give our kitty another way to enter/exit the house. The microchip recognition system has been working well so far, haven't had to change the batteries yet. It was also easy to set up. Training was fine. I think it took her maybe a month to start utilizing it fully. I really want to be able to control this from an app (to be able to switch to different modes), but I don't think this brand has a door like that. So that's a negative thing for me, plus it's a little bit expensive. But of course it's worth it, hence the re-order :)
We purchased this flap to stop other cats entering our house through a conventional cat flap. It only opens with the microchips that belong to our girls. It was an absolute breeze to programme their chips for their use. I thoroughly recommend this product. We had to buy the surround as well but for the safety of our girls, both were a good investment.
We should have taken more notice of the door sizes. Bought this one and found it was too small for one of our cats. Ended up having to buy the Sureflap pet door, which was big enough All in all a costly mistake
I was replacing an existing sureflap door and the new one fitted perfectly and there were no problems recording the micro chip.
This cat flap didn't impress our nervous cat at first, we left it open for the first few days, now happy to use it, great idea
